Ted West is a co-founder of Sage Partners and leads its venture development practice. He is directly involved in the following Sage portfolio companies: AccTrak21, BlueSpace, Get-Me-In (Advanced Ticket Systems Ltd.), Memetrics, and Credit-IQ.

Ted has 26 years of experience as an entrepreneur, corporate executive, director, and advisor to founders, boards, and senior management teams of emerging growth companies around the world. Prior to co-founding Sage Partners, Ted founded, built, and grew several private companies, such as CATALYST (sold to Ameritech), Network 1.0 (sold to SOFTBANK), and RealNames, each of which were early market pioneers in their respective market segments.

Ted has also served on the Boards of several emerging companies, both public and private. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board and Interim CEO of LookSmart, a public company in digital marketing services and technology. He serves as Director of Get-Me-In, a UK e-commerce services firm, and Memetrics, a global marketing optimization solutions company.

Ted earned his M.B.A. in general management from Harvard Business School, and A.B. with High Honors in Architecture and Urban Planning from Princeton University.
