Tom Doorley has been invited to meet with faculty and students in Penn State’s College of Engineering’s Entrepreneurship program.
In the continuing commitment for Sage Partners to share its entrepreneurial expertise broadly, Tom Doorley has been invited to meet with faculty and students in Penn State’s College of Engineering’s Entrepreneurship program. As part of his time at Penn State he will be a judge in the College of Informations Science and Technology’s IdeaMaker Challenge (IST), where student teams compete for funding. In addition he will present Sage Partners’ Venture Acceleration frameworks and process to groups of students and faculty.
While on campus he will also meet with senior members of the Administration and the Faculty to discuss governance issues. While Penn State is a public institution of higher education, it is also a large, complex institution facing challenges–a governance setting that is in Sage Partners’ ‘power alley.’ Tom and Sage have invested significant amounts of time and energy to become informed about the strategy and governance issues the University faces. At every opportunity we share our insight and advice to the leaders of this important institution.
